Sire line is Bairactar, her dam family traces to the mare Selma bred by Abbas Pasha in 1865 in Egypt, imported to England in 1891. Dam family strain is Hamdani Simriya.

Her sire *Amsterdam is a Tallin son, out of Axioma, a Kumir daughter. Amsterdam was imported from the Kossack Stud by Gilbert Van Camp in 1986 as a yearling. Since he only sired a handful of foals before being gelded, we feel very fortunate to have her in our SR program. She is incredibly sweet, and easy going and had her first foal at the age of 16.
