He is 14.2 and is line bred to *Muscat, out of Pavlovka, a *Muscat daughter, who is out of the lovely big bodied mare *Pliska an Aswan daughter owned by Lasma Arabians. He has crosses to many greats, such as *Princip, *Salon, *Moment, *Muscat, Nadejni, Kilimandscharo, and Aswan. He has fourteen lines to Ofir, which explains his VERY athletic ability. He is intelligent (sometimes too smart for his own good), but level headed, and loves attention. Stud fee is $1000/$750. SCID pending, CA pending.
A little history about Poseidan's sire line which traces to Bairactar through Nabeg. This quote is by Ponomarev (studmaster at Tersk) from The Arabian Horse World 1987, "For me the greatest accomplishment was recognizing the value of Nabeg, and his line. Nabeg was foaled before I started to work at Tersk, and he was at another stud farm and was for sale for $2000.00. I liked him, and brought him to Tersk and started him as a breeding stallion." Without Ponomarev's foresight, this magnificent stallion may have never been used at Tersk.
