Sire line is Saqlawi Jedran, her dam family traces to the mare Selma bred by Abbas Pasha in 1865 in Egypt, imported to England in 1891. Dam family strain is Hamdani Simriya.
AHR 345680 Pusta was imported by Gilbert Van Camp as a yearling in 1986. She is out of Poezia who is by Elfur, Elfur was a full brother to USA National Champion stallion El Paso. She is the only straight Russian Kapron daughter in the USA. Her Selma dam line is a favorite of ours, and is known for its trainability. She is the dam of Kapriona, and granddam of Tanara.
