Another straight Russian granddaughter of *Marsianin joins our brood mare band, and horsey family.
Anna is everything her pedigree says she should be...... beautiful and athletic! She traces to some great horses, such as Neman, Podsnejnik, Ninifee, Kilimandscharo, and of course *Marsianin, who is a huge favorite of ours. In 1981 a year after his importation to the US, he was named US National Champion stallion. An interesting note about his exportation from Tersk Stud in Russia to Germany, his name was changed from Mars to Marsianin when he was registered in Germany, but he is still listed as Mars in the Russian Stud book.
He is full brother to Mag, Muslin and the beautiful mare Mexica.
She has a beautiful face, neck, and throat latch, and is incredibly kind, and sensitive, as if she was indeed raised in the tent of her master in the desert! I saw this kindness in her eyes when I looked at her pictures.
